brilliant deduction

A cop wearing a tudung does nasty things. --->Equation A
These nasty things were done to a Chinese girl. ---> Equation B

As there are many geniuses around, they had easily deduced from Equation A and B that :

1) Because the nasty things were done by a cop, all cops are evil.
2) And because the evil cop was wearing a tudung, all tudung wearers are evil.
3) And because the victim was Chinese, all Chinese are vulnerable.
4) And because the politicians failed to do anything, all the politicians are evil.
5) And because this all happened in Malaysia, Malaysia is evil.
6) And because Malaysia is evil, you are all ashamed of your country.

And from all of the above, I can also deduce that you are all morons.

Condemnation of a despicable act is appropriate. But when you condemnation goes out of the scope, when you shoot your way through everything, you end up looking like a real ass. Here's the juice:

Cop humiliates woman.

It's as simple as that. Crucify the cop that did that. Why bring in race, religion, politicians and even your goddamn country into question? Why does it have to be:

Cop wearing tudung humiliates Chinese woman, politicians to be blamed, a nation grives.

Quite the drama queen, are we now? How is it that an act like that from a sicko make Malaysia a sucky country? There are too many unhappy souls around. Why, why do you hate your country so much that an act by a cop equates to a problem with the whole country? If it pleases you take a swipe at the police force (and maybe rightly so), but tell me, what did Malaysia do to you that she deserves to be condemned over an act that she played no part of?

Well, the conclusions might not necessarily be reflective of the real situation in Malaysia...

But hey! They attract more clicks than "Cop humiliates woman.".

Plus, I strongly disagree with your suggestion to crucify the cop. Stick with trusted traditional values... the "sula" has never failed us. And I'd take one up my ass before crucifixion becomes the preferred national execution method.

Thank you.

It always makes things more interesting when there are inconsistencies in the actions of a person. This is the premise which has been well advanced since the assessment of repression in humans.

The person wearing a tudung is assumed to be a person of religious values and thus would not condone such acts. And when there is a contradiction to the outwards display of piety, it makes for interesting reading, and also about breaking of common assumptions held.

Btw, you sound very worked up about this

yeah, i think it's because it's his country? seriously I'd also get worked up if this is in Sg. How should I put it? I think there are still nice cops around in M'sia, just as there might be bad cops in Sg. But from the surface view it is not like this because this corruption practise is like a virus, it keeps spreading.

I believe though, time would clean this up and one day M'sia would be a neat and clean country again.

yeah, what does race, nationality, etc. gotta do with anything...

I think there are a lot of racist people in this country.

when are u changing ur maroon background to something else? mch maroon spells almost like moron. :P

azmeen : You are right. Sula is so much more cooler. :)

gg : I am worked up. Of course. I get worked up when people tactlessly bash my country.

ignorant one : Yes, it takes time. Unfortunately, more time than we are willing to give.

ky : I am not changing my background, ever. Its a trademark man.

Hey Vincent:

"what did Malaysia do to you that she deserves to be condemned over an act that she played no part of?"

Its not the nation, its the people running the nation. And the part where the bloody deputy chief of police can say that the culprit is NOT the policewoman but the person who took the MMS clip, who IMO is a national hero/heroine (intentional or not).

So Vincent, how is it that an act like that from a sicko make Malaysia a sucky country? Its not the act. Its the fact that the people running the country really couldn't care less about things like this.

If something like this happened in the UK the police would have hell to pay.

Now grow up.

"Not the nation, but the people running the nation."

Riteee....and then you go on to talk about the Deputy IGP. Does he run the nation??

Badawi has ordered a full investigation. He has taken steps to get behind all this. He has assured that there will be no coverup (I don't think you can cover up something like this, not after all the publicity) Is that not enough for you?

The investigation results are not out yet, and you choose to critisize, in your words "the people running the nation". None of the MPs have said anything which suggest they are condoning or downplaying this act.

No sir, I don't need to grow up. But you certainly need to think before you go about hating your country for everything.

"Riteee....and then you go on to talk about the Deputy IGP. Does he run the nation??"

Duhhh.....he may not be the PM and dictate policy but he is most definitely representive of the people that DO run the nation. And the rules and regulations he follows ARE dictated by the people who do run the nation. You got owned here, kid.

And it has indeed been confirmed that stripping detainees naked and forcing them to do squats IS "police procedure" in our country. So yes, I am right and you are wrong. But then you knew that already, you just didn't want to admit it.

"Badawi has ordered a full investigation. He has taken steps to get behind all this. He has assured that there will be no coverup"

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.
Give me a f*cking break. "Full investigation" my rear end. Are you too young to remember Anwar? He was a former DPM and the highest profile person under arrest in our nation, possibly the world during that period and yet the IGP beat him up.

And what happened? Was the IGP sacked? Did Rahim Noor pay compensation to Anwar? Did the PDRM formally apologize to Anwar? Bollox. They just asked the IGP to retire/resign and hushed it up.

Beating someone up is a CRIMINAL act. Yet the action taken was a slap on the wrist. If they can beat the ex-DPM of Malaysia, they can most certainly beat whoever the hell they like.

"The investigation results are not out yet..."

Hey brader, this is Malaysia. We already know what the investigation results will be - one scapegoat, the higher-ups covered up. You spent too much time overseas maybe?

"None of the MPs have said anything which suggest they are condoning or downplaying this act."

The MPs can do jack shit lah friend. If UMNO says don't bring the issue up, sit down and shut up. Otherwise you get suspended for 3 mnths like the MIC minister who dared to stand up for the Indians.

"No sir, I don't need to grow up. But you certainly need to think before you go about hating your country for everything."

No, you DO need to grow up. And remove the blinkers from your eyes. I most certainly don't hate Malaysia - I gave up a lucrative career in the UK to return home. In fact, I love Malaysia very much.

I DO hate the people who run it though.

Woohoohoo, we're all drama queens for acting upset over a confirmed case of police abuse only to find out that this abuse is actually standard police procedure!

Bet you'll be a drama queen just like us if (god forbid) your girlfriend or sister was the one subjected to the treatment.

Maybe you should try spending a night in Police custody. May change your opinion 180 degrees. Don't worry, you don't have to break any laws. All you have to do is join the DAP/PAS and campaign for them in the next election.

It is pointless to have an argument with you since you have already decided that they government can do no right.

Badawi promised something and instead of waiting for him to fail to deliver before slagging him, you choose to slag him anyway with regards to Anwar when Badawi wasn't even in the equation back then.

I am sorry, but I never knew that the police ran my nation. I never knew we were a police nation and that the Deputy IGP (the deputy, mind you) was one of the key players in making decisions that shape my country.

Of course we all know they covered up things in the past. But instead of giving them a chance to right a wrong this time around, you chose to insist that the WILL cover up again this time. Maybe they will, but you have already made them guilty before they did anything.

That is why I am pissed. Malaysians like you everywhere jump on everything and insist that they are guilty of a coverup even before they have a chance to do anything.

Love your country? I think not. Your words may say it but your actions certainly do not. Look at yourself, asshole. You might not have a website, but you clearly DO NOT need to leave your website add as 'www.pdrmsucks.com'. How does proclaiming publicly putting 'pdrmsucks' as your website address change anything?

Ptui...and you call me a kid. With old idiots like you who think that you know everything just because you are old, I rather stay a kid, thank you very much.

Muahahahahaha

Yes, vincent, you are still a kid, and are incredibly naive to boot.

You know what Noh Omar said yesterday? "Think Malaysia is cruel? Then GO HOME!"

http://www.malaysia-today.net/Blog-e/2005/11/malaysia-cruel-then-go-home-foreigners.htm

opps. How, your points all blown to shreds now?

This government, they are all alike, they may say the right things but you know its all cakap tak serupa bikin. When they do something right, I'll give them the credit for it, but what have they done right lately? Nada. Zip. Zero.

I still stand by my statement that if the girl in the video was your sister or your girlfriend you'd be just as much a "drama queen" as the rest of us.

You sure you not a wannabe-UMNO member?
LOL.

The guy is an underling. Listening to underlings speak is like listening to you. Crap usually comes out of the mouth.

Think about it...you listen to what he says, but you ignore every good thing Badawi has tried to do about the situation.

I wonder who the biased naive kid is.

I do believe that we shouldn't bring in one's race, religion and nationality in this matter though. It is the act that counts.

Very interesting blog you have there. Always a good read. Keep it up.
